Omantel HQ Project

The flagship project is the 1st building project that used BIM in Oman construction industry. It was initiated in 2017 and we have started to develop the model with the use of Tender drawings which was available at the moment. However, we have developed the Revit model up to some extent and then Issued for construction drawings were issued to the contractor, so we have updated the models up to LOD 350 level and later it was upgraded to LOD 500 at the handing over stage. As this was the 1st project that was not followed proper BIM workflow. However, it was a fantastic experience for all the stake holders
