I am a professional with a strong background in digital project delivery, model coordination and BIM management. My experience covers buildings and infrastructure for clients in Sri Lanka and overseas, with a focus on simple, practical workflows.

I currently serve as Director-BIM at Spectrum International Consultants where I support organizations to plan, implement and benefit from BIM and related technologies.

Masters in Global BIM Management in Civil Engineering & GIS

University of Barcelona

A one-year, English-taught master’s programme that equips professionals to lead infrastructure and construction projects using modern digital workflows. The course teaches how to apply Building Information Modeling (BIM) and geographic information systems (GIS) across all project phases — from planning and design through construction, to operation and maintenance.

It develops skills in data and information management, collaborative workflows (OpenBIM), infrastructure design (roads, railways, drainage, utilities), 4D/5D planning and budgeting, and lifecycle asset management — preparing graduates for global BIM-manager or infrastructure-project leadership roles.

A specialised engineering degree that combines civil engineering fundamentals with modern construction and project-management practices. The programme develops skills in planning, scheduling, budgeting, health and safety, and managing construction activities from design to completion. It prepares graduates for roles such as project engineer, site manager, and construction project manager in the building and infrastructure sectors.

A three-year professional diploma designed to produce skilled civil engineering technologists for the construction industry. The programme combines two years of academic study with one year of structured industrial training, covering structural engineering, surveying, construction materials, hydraulics, geotechnics, and project site practices. With strong emphasis on practical skills, laboratory work, and field applications, the NDT (Civil) equips graduates to work confidently in roles such as site supervisor, engineering assistant, CAD technician, and technical officer, or to progress toward advanced engineering qualifications.
